“At one time I wanted to be a counselor. Designing for them was a better fit.”

The Belief Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to improve the mental health of those in need, with a passion for first responders and veterans.

They came to me in need of a new logo, but they deserved a full identity. We aimed to communicate their character and mission more effectively than the existing branding they had.

The solution was a full re-brand and new website that quickly gained them more traction, allowed them to expand more confidently into the next phases of their business, and communicated the essence of their story simply and accurately to the world.

They are some amazing people that gave me tremendous trust and creative freedom. As one of my first freelance projects it was a heavy lift, but it has been my favorite project to date.

Project Brief & Mini Brand Book

The cause of improving mental health and treating addiction is near to my heart. It was an honor to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on those who stand to benefit most from organizations like The Belief Center. I like to think that indirectly helping individuals by creating a brand that is both inviting and worthy of their trust can amplify the effects of those helping directly.

At one time I wanted to be a counselor. Designing for them was a better fit. I tell myself that’s still paying it forward.
