Catering to professional creatives and their clients, Makers Gym installed a self-serve cocktail machine, and social media promos needed to be shot for each flavor to convey unique cocktail identities.
As art director I crafted the identities and collaborated on the shot list alongside videographer Hunter Avery, who handled all of the production considerations and editing. Our 5 person team made it all happen day-of.
On set I wore the hats of director of photography, food stylist, grip, production assistant, and student, learning as much as possible.
I soon came to understand the meaning of the phrase “production life”.

In life I typically agree with the saying “If you want something done right, do it yourself.” It’s the perfectionist in me. But in production, that’s just nonsense! I experienced that first hand.
